STOP and Smell The Roses...

As of Today

Everything I Need To Know
- I've Learned -
Of Course I'm 50 not 16

So this time it's different.

It's easier to be an Aunt than a Mom,

Laughter is the best medicine - there are no deductible or co-pays.

If you're not a brain surgeon or a pilot
- it's only key-strokes, copies and Hello's
or Heat Brown Water, donuts and napkins.
At the end of the day - Nobody is dead.

Finally...

Big Hands and Big Feet - only mean Big Gloves and Big Shoes.

It reminds me of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes when (I think it's Cathy Bates) runs her car into a younger girls car after they steal her parking space. they might be young and quick, but she says she has more insurance. At least we have something as we get older. ;)

lol - I am so at the Kathy Bates point in my life right now! Loved the quotes you posted. I will be printing them to put on my daughters door. She thinks she knows everything anyway!

Laughter does have a price, laugh lines, i.e. WRINKLES. Since I hate taking medicine, I'll just have to go with the wrinkles. ;)

Hi Christine, I think we are friends now on Facebook. Better than being a Mom or an Aunt is being a grandma, especially when the little devils are as adorable as my four grandchildren, all under five. Is it any wonder that I love to write books with babies? In two weeks, my sweet and spicy medical romance, BABIES IN THE BARGAIN, will be released at TWRP. You will find appealing friends in my characters.
Great quotes, Christine! I really enjoyed reading them.

I totally love being a gramma! My favorite saying is, Each day is a gift. Hubby survived cancer last year so that put things way into perspective.

Here's to many sales for you!

Great quotes, Christine! I've learned a lot along the way too, and wish I'd known in my younger days what I do now.

You're right about the jobs. None of us are brain surgeons or pilots, and if it's not done at the end of the day, there's always tomorrow. I have to remember that when I'm trying to do too much at the day job.

I have another saying for you: Work is the best thing in the world--that's why you should always leave some of it for tomorrow.

Have a good night.

I have a theory about the human mind. A brain is a lot like a computer. It will only take so many facts, and then it will go into overload and blow up. - Erma Bombeck

Love the sayings! Thanks
