Can you believe this review

Good morning Chris, I wanted to thank you for authoring “Uncle Mike’s Love”. I finished the story last night and was pleasantly surprised! I never knew that there were still hopeless romantics out there like me. I loved the book! This is my style of story. I could see this short story turning into a much longer book and I would be the first in line to buy it! There still is romance in this world. I want to know more about Mike’s background and why did Patty’s marriage dissolve. Was she pinning over Mike all those years and could not fully give herself to her husband. Was Mike’s drug problem because he left Patty heart broken to pursue his own interests? There are many unanswered questions! Thank you so much, I really enjoyed it and hope that you keep writing stories like this one. I am looking forward to reading the other stories! And I will be the first to purchase your novel! Keep writing, there is a need for books like yours! Signed, An Anonymous Hopeless Romantic!

I read your story last night before I went to bed…. in my estimation this was the best one yet. The characters seemed so familiar and I could visualize the places like "Millies Cafe" on 42nd where I would go after high school for french fries for a quarter. The neighbors Ella and Orin - and old lady Carlson. I especially like the little things like the kids way of telling directions and the flower metaphor with the dandelion. Keep up the great work Pat Freiheit , Insurance Agent Santa Maria, are Chris Columbus’ stories good! Her characters are very thought provoking, whether they might be peons or Queen Isabella herself. They take me to new worlds. Her stories are very easy reads, whether only a few pages long or 1492. This Nina can write. I am glad I discovered her. John Fyle Brooklyn Park, MN

Of course, Ruth likes to pretend that she wasn’t playing in the laundry baskets. I like to pretend that I can eat anything I want and not gain weight. I also try to convince myself that thinking about writing is as good as typing the story. Reality check…back to creating habits.

Another Habit is to...

Walk the treadmill every morning...Ruth thinks this new habit is great. When I hit my stride of power walking at 4.2 miles an hour Ruth tosses her squeaky toys up on to the treadmill. I hop over the toy and it goes zinging off the back...Ruth happily retrieves the toy and tosses it back on to the treadmill. So far, I've been able to dodge the toys.
