Christine: Yes, Christine Columbus is indeed my real name. I was the sixth child born to my parents. And when asked why, me? My dad would say he thought it was time to have a ‘Chris’ in the family. My mom told me at the time, my father went up to the nurses’ station and gave them my name, and it wasn’t until later that she learned he had named me Christine instead of Kristine. Writing has always been my passion, a source of joy that I couldn't resist. After a brief hiatus, I am back to doing what I love-spinning tales that captivate and inspire. For over fifty years, I called Minnesota home. But then, I embarked on a decade-long adventure, traveling the United States in a 40’ 5th wheel camper. Now, I've settled in North Carolina, living the dream in a stick and brick dwelling (apartment).
